If you want to train for more than 2-3 hours then the external battery pack is a great option. The external battery pack allows for easy change over of batteries.

The external battery pack also makes the machine about 2 kg lighter as the battery sits external to the machine.

The external battery pack consists of the 3 parts - the external battery module (to be installed onto the machine), dual ended connecting cable and battery bag.

To charge the external battery, disconnect the battery connecting cable from the machine and plug the charger into the charging port (as shown in the last image).

When you buy a ball machine it will be supplied with one battery and charger. Additional batteries are sold separately.

Very Convenient and Light

Excellent power output and capacity for the size of the battery. Ability to swap for a fully charged battery without interruption to an extended session is very helpful.
There is a slight but noticable reduction in the set speed as battery starts to discharge, but easy enough to adjust setting from the other end of the court with the phone app, or even better, switch to a faster preset program with the wrist band remote. Would be fair to say that anyone fit enough to run that little battery flat in one session would have no trouble carrying a bigger battery across to the machine.
