Battery Use Tips
These tips will help you get the most out of the battery in your tennis ball machine and will help to prolong its life. With proper care you should get over 2 years of use from your battery.
Stop playing before you completely drain the battery. Most machines will play for around 2 - 3 hours on a fully charged battery so try and stop short of the 3 hours and put it back on the charger.
If you want to play for longer periods we recommend buying additional batteries and having these charged and ready to go, or if you have power on or near the court you can upgrade to a hybrid power / battery module.
Charge the battery as soon as you have finished playing. Batteries don't like being left discharged. Recharge the battery after each use. Lead acid must periodically be charged 14–16 hours to attain full saturation.
Don't leave your battery on the charger. Once the charge indicator light turns green you can switch off the charger and disconnect it from the machine.
Lead acid batteries must always be stored in a charged state. A topping charge should be applied every 6 months to prevent damaging the performance to your battery.
